In 1999 we were remodeling the Valbruna Inn and had to rate the quality of the Inn according to the International “stars” standard; will the Valbruna Inn be a 3-star or 4-star structure? It felt like the Valbruna Inn was not about “stars” at all, it was 100% about the heart and passion we put into the project and into the remodel, the heart of the architect in designing it, the heart of all the local artisans who contributed, the heart in every details which will make a guest feel like being at home, and the heart of our staff that was coming with precious little details like colorful rafia ribbons on the spare toilet paper rolls! The Valbruna Inn was born with ratings of 3 stars and 5 hearts! The 5 hearts hospitality idea was born!
Five hearts hospitality means how a guest feels when experiencing something special, something like when you visit a friend who drops everything he or she is doing because you are in town! It is everything that creates everlasting memories, it’s usually not of great material value, it is generated by people for people, by emotions, by sharing, by warmth, by small details and small things that feel big inside. It all comes from one’s heart and goes to someone else’s heart.

Valbruna Inn — The Valbruna Inn is a small hotel on Valbruna’s main street in the heart of the Julian Alps. We are a group of lifetime friends that in 1999 decided to remodel an old building, which was part of the history of the Valbruna village since 1951 when Egidio Keil opened Pensione Keil in the old family house next to the church in the heart of the village.
Minturn Inn — The Minturn Inn is a charming B&B on Main Street in the historic Colorado town of Minturn. It is ideally located between Vail and Beaver Creek, just five miles to either resort. The Minturn Inn is an historic 1915 homestead with the warmth and atmosphere of an old cabin in the mountains. The 9 rooms feature modern amenities, antique furnishings and fine linens creating a relaxing and cozy retreat when visiting the Vail Valley and exploring the Rockies.
Hotel Minturn — Hotel Minturn is a boutique hotel located in Minturn, Colorado, the historic town of the Vail Valley. Minturn is ideally situated between Vail and Beaver Creek, just five miles to either resort. The downtown location of Hotel Minturn is a short walk to the Minturn Mile ski trail and just steps to all the restaurants and shops. The rooms of Hotel Minturn are furnished in a clean, contemporary style with high-end finishes, fine linens and modern amenities.
